Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 I come to a site with some java applet, it says, I don't have the java plugin, and if I want to download it, I have agreed, waited for download to complete and finally came through java installation. Then in Mozilla's window message 'Java plugin for Windows installed' appeared. Then I tried to view again the page on which was the java applet and it says again I don't have the plugin :( If I click the Help->About plugins, there is no java plugin. And I'm sure that Java 2.0 was installed on this machine before I've downloaded Mozilla.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to page with java 2. download and install plugin 3. try to view the applet Actual Results: java do not work Expected Results: Java should work

Seems like a dupe of bug Reporter could you try to do the following: copy the jre plugin (NPOJI600.dll) (you can find it in your install of the JRE) to the mozilla plugin directory (mozilla.org\Mozilla\Plugins) and re-start mozilla. If this works, if is a dupe.

Jan: Have you tried the instructions in the release notes? http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla0.9.4/#java
This looks like a dupe of bug 101687
Likely to be "npoji600.dll not copied" problem. Dupe of 84463. Reporter: please verify whether it's not correct, otherwise we will close bug as dupe.
