My experience of dragging tabs about is frequently very frustrating. Often after dragging a tab - potentially over dozens or hundreds of other tabs - it just jumps right back to where it was and I have to start the dragging all over again! This happens if my mouse cursor is over the dragged tab but nearer to the bottom of it when I release the mouse. Unfortunately for me that seems to be the position that my mouse pointer often ends up after dragging a tab.
Hopefully bug 674925 will help with this.
