It would be nicer if we have a short, ~250ms, animation when turning on the screen. With the proper use of will-change: transform, OMTAnimation. We will likely need bug 931668 to also be fixed otherwise animation start delay will hide a short animation in the 250ms range.

Argh. I forgot to ask a question. Jaime, do you know if there is any spec for that ? And if not, do you have someone that can look into it ?

This bug may need bug 940359 to be fixed. (I don't have a quick way to check right now so not blocking yet).

Right now there's no spec for this but we're working on some design ideas for the lockscreen. We could work on something in the mean time. I'll needs info Patryk.

I'll take this for now, and either attach a design or assign someone to it, hopefully we can have something in the next few weeks and it could get into 2.2

Please try to limit the animation to CSS async transform that doesn't use opacity.
