Sigh... More regressions! What is happening with the mozilla team? Confirming... When i send mail, i get the window telling it could not send mail, so i checked with telnet and my smtp was up, so big bug here...

Maybe this is the same problem described in bug# 108912? For the send problem to occur all you have to do is open the Account Settings dialog, and press OK, then you'll experience send problems.

Well, as soon as the patch on that bug lands on the trunk, please comment that here so i can download the trunk tomorrow and test this. This is a serious blocker.
