Details

See <http://hg.mozilla.org/gaia-l10n/ar/file/912d6c9267d7/apps/email/email.properties#l374>: reply-quoting-wrote=كتب {name } There is an extra whitespace after "name".
Localization seems to have way too many whitespaces, I'd suggest to double check if all of them are necessary or introduced by mistake when translating. http://transvision.mozfr.org/?recherche= &repo=gaia&sourcelocale=en-US&locale=ar&search_type=strings
It's very possible that these spaces are not even visible in the Pootle UI... bidi is hard. :(
To be clear, the problem here is that "{name }" should be "{name}". We are doing a simple replace on "{name}" in the email back-end and the replace is not very flexible/clever. (The back-end has very limited l10n needs/capabilities, the "AUTHOR wrote" is about the sum total of fanciness required.) Although the in there does seem odd.
We no longer localize FFOS.
