Bug #777602 was an audit of message manager protocols a 18 months years ago in support of hardening IPC towards a stronger process model in b2g. A lot of the codebase has changed since the previous review. While message manager protocols are generally secreview, there are possibly to be APIs which have not been reviewed.
With Seccomp & e10s approaching, its probably worth revisiting this audit. My team will look at this, but happy for any input from other teams.
