I think it would be wholly useful/neat to have some key "minimize" all the
toolbars...
Say I press F11 for instance...
mozilla instantly minimizes my menubar, navigation bar and link bar...
I press F11 again, and they all pop up.
and perhaps take this a little further as well...
I press F12, and all bars are turned off, leaving only the page content in the
window. this could be compared to the full screen mode of IE I suppose...
I don't know if this would be hard to implement, but I hope not.
If/When it is implemented, I think this will make a great feature.

Reporter: I believe the functionality you're looking for is indeed covered by
the bugs mentioned about: bug 3341, and bug 68136.
Marking WONTFIX, unless you can tell us why this would be better than fullscreen
or kiosk mode.

My thoughts where that it would be nice to just hit a button and all chrome
vaporizes from mozilla when reading a website...
especially when using low resolutions.
I think the backend needed for this will be covered by the bug 3341 / bug 68136
...
exactly what to do about this from here I don't know, but perhaps one could open
a depending bug for this feature?
a "fullscreen mode that doesn't maximize window" is more likely an extention of
bug 68136. Please add a comment about it there, to "plant the idea"

This would be useful for enabling toolbars after a web site has disabled them.
