I have some accounts that I dont want to be informed if there's new mails at. So it could be nice if it was possible to turn on/off sound/visual new mail notification per account.

Reporter, There is a pref in accounts and settings "check for new messages every [N] minutes" Uncheck this option. Biff will not fetch the message for you untill you do a manual get message on each account if you want to download messages. This by default is checked on every account that you create. If you have multiple accounts in that profile and one of the account is checking for the message then you would hear both the sound and visual for that account only and not the other two.

I wanted to mention that in case of a imap account when biff is turned off the message will not be retrieved unless you click on get message or click on the inbox. When you click on the inbox of a imap account that you have already logged in we automatically download the headers. In case of a pop account then you have to manually Get Message button as I mentioned earlier.

mark this as RFE. I want to download the messages and filter them. I just dont want a new mail sound for all of my account...

You guys should vote for this if you want it to ever happen... I agree it kind of makes sense to have notification settings per account. Maybe.
