Viewfinder with weird bright areas

Platform:
- gonk: v163

- gaia: master:e91d6a7e24da61764a2bca26dff2e50da0e82c8b
Observed: there is an irregular "bright area" in the Flame viewfinder. The attachment tries to capture the weirdness--the image is of my uniformly-black mousepad.
Expected: the viewfinder should accurately reflect its subject
