User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140829004003 Steps to reproduce: Surfing, or doing other functions in a browser such as printing or viewing the options window, will make Aurora unresponsive for 10-30 seconds at a time. Actual results: Aurora will hang for at least 10 seconds. After starting a thread in ask.mozilla.org, I was encouraged by Benjamin Smedberg to file a bug report on this and submit as much information as I have. Here is a link to the crash that I made happen, immediately after my most recent hang tonight: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-4957781a-758a-4b2b-b26a-ab65e2140830 I have Telemetry, Aurora Health Reporter, and Crash reporter enabled if I can get at that data. I will continue posting new crash reports immediately after each hang. Expected results: Aurora should not hang. I realize that this is alpha software. I'm not complaining. I was encouraged to file a bug report about this, so I am. I'll still use Aurora even if this is never resolved; its just that perhaps someone can do some troubleshooting.
I have pared down my usual addons (15 of them) to only a few privacy/adblocker addons, and Evernote Clearly. Would it be better for me to run with my full complement of addons? I have done memory tests and found that these addons all consume less than a meg of memory (except for Adblock Plus) each.

Summary: Aurora Hangs at least once a day → Aurora hangs for 10-30 seconds at least once a day
¡Hola! Can you please try and get a profile of a hang using https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Profiling_with_the_Built-in_Profiler ? ¡Gracias!

The profiler is to be used right now, or only after a hang?
Flags: needinfo?(prittman)
Is shall be run around the time the hang occurs I'd think. Have you found any rhythm or rime as to what might be causing it i.e. a particular site, a time of the day, etc?
Flags: needinfo?(prittman)
No, no pattern that I can see. Occasionally it is internal stuff like the options page. Other times, it is displaying a PDF (although FF native PDF handler is much better at this than anyone else's plugin, I've found); or printing; or it can be surfing the web. No pattern that I've detected. OK I'll go back to Aurora and surf until it hangs, then I'll upload a profiler report.

OK I just installed the Profiler. Next time, I'll run the profiler in addition to submitting a crash report. And I caused the crash (to generate the report), although it was a hang (browser was nonresponsive for at least 10 seconds).
Hey, quick question here; does this get better if you move the mouse around over the Firefox window?

I'm marking this bug as duplicate of bug #1064864 as there we have more info and here OP still not answered the question. If you think otherwise please reopen.
