1. If you run with e10s and a11y is enabled, you get a notification asking you to disable e10s and restart. You can choose "Don't Disable" and e10s will remain on. However, we'll display the same prompt again the next time you start up. Pretty annoying. 2. If we disable e10s due to a11y, the e10s checkbox in the prefs still appears checked (because we use a different pref to disable e10s for a11y).
I inadvertently activated this pref during testing, and had some trouble finding out why e10s would not enable anymore. I remember seeing a message about e10s needing to be disabled, and I think that it was triggered by me taking a screen shot with snagit ( http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.html ) I think that disabling and reenabling e10s via the options panel should also set browser.tabs.remote.autostart.disabled-because-using-a11y to false (and perhaps warn the user). (similar to what was suggested in comment 20 of bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1047076 ) I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.
