the entity that's missing is "&editLinkCmd.label;" ben checked in some changes relating to this last night, which is why it got assigned to him. working on it...

that fixes the blocker, but the context menu is the message pane is messed up. I'll work on that after this part of the fix goes in, as it will unblock the tree.
