Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20140924105546
Steps to reproduce:
Opened the Browser Toolbox, selected Inspector.
Actual results:
While inspector sort of works for the main browser window, It won't work for the Web Developer Toolbox. You can't inspect the inspector, and the xul elements that make inspector, console, etc.
Expected results:
It should work as it did in Firefox 20-something, it should let you inspect the inspector and other windows other than main browser.

This is working on Nightly if the tools are inside the main firefox window. I'm guessing you mean you can't inspect other windows, so I'm marking this as a duplicate of the bug about that feature.

This was actually working one time when I tried it in beta 33 again, if tools are inside main Firefox window.
Unfortunately even this doesn't work most times. I tried again and turning on the "inspect element" only prevents clicks from working in the browser, even if you turn off inspect.
Worse yet, it often makes the browser you're inspecting non-responsive until you close the browser toolbox.
This is on Ubuntu 14.04 if that makes a difference.
