These lines from the log look relevant: I/Gecko (10764): nsDOMIdentity ({5b4badbd-a37e-4d57-b084-744f95ae995e}): init was called from https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/?mccs=[{%22mcc%22:%22470%22,%22mnc%22:%2201%22},{%22mcc%22:%22%22,%22mnc%22:%22%22}] E/GeckoConsole(10764): [JavaScript Error: "TCPSocket does not have permission in this context. E/GeckoConsole(10764): " {file: "jar:file:///system/b2g/omni.ja!/components/TCPSocket.js" line: 552}]
I believe that's unrelated; it's what our packaged app uses to check for connectivity.
Tested this on a flame with 2.1 and I can't repro.
Working build id is: 20141030001201

Victor - did you have any success getting further with this with an updated build?
Flags: needinfo?(vcarciu)
No, this is not reproducible with the latest build.
