Testing Aurora/DevEdition 35.0a2 (2014-11-09) on Linux, I see that in the devtools options panel, any checkbox or radio items I hover are rendered as a dark font on dark background and therefore practically invisible.

I suspect that a system theming dark hover font applies instead of a dark-theme-specific override.
I don't see that on Ubuntu 14.10. Can you post a screenshot/screencast?

Also, do you see this even without the devedition browser theme applied? Sounds like this could be an issue within the toolbox only.

I actually see the same with the default theme applied for the browser but the dark theme selected for devtools. With the light theme, things are of course fine as dark text is expected there anyhow.
OK, unblocking dev edition. I'd also like to see a screenshot/screencast as mentioned in Comment 1 if you don't mind. Also, are there any more details about your system that could help us reproduce: Which distro/version? Do you have a custom OS theme applied?
No longer blocks: fx-dev-edition
OS: All → Linux
Screenshots for hovering are awkward because the mouse pointer is not on the screenshot. The mouse pointer is over "Enable persistent logs" in "Common Preferences".

My system is openSUSE Factory with KDE as my main desktop and the Oxygen-gtk2 theme applied to GTK2 to fit in with the same style on KDE.
Component: Developer Tools → Developer Tools: Framework
