Details

STR: - Load a page with lots of text, such as bugzilla, i.e. bigger than a screen. - Move the window size around lots Expected Results => Smooth adjustment of the in-content display Actual Results => Badly lags, with ~ half second updates. I noticed this first on a Loop page with active video where the lagging was a second or more to update.

Mark, are you talking about just moving the window or resizing it? Also, can you let me know what OS you are running? Resize behavior should have improved around the time you saw this so would you mind checking it again? Thanks.

Sorry, I meant resizing it. This is on Macbook Pro 10.8. Testing on a non-retina display. > Resize behavior should have > improved around the time you saw this so would you mind checking it again? It has improved, such that I think its no longer dogfood, but it still feels more jerky than the non-e10s version.

I would say this has probably improved since originally reported as "really lagging." On latest Nightly, painting lags behind on resize ever so slightly on e10s. Where painting keeps up on non-e10s.
I see the refresh lag when opening and closing a sidebar (bug 1117253).
