Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.122 Safari/537.36

Go to any website on Mac OS, try to navigate with Tab key through the website.

Actual results:

All the links are being ignored/skipped.

Expected results:

Links should be focused and so able for interaction via keyboard.
Severity: normal → major
Priority: -- → P2
This is controlled by an OS-level preference. See System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > "press Tab to move keyboard focus between:". At least that's where it lives on 10.9.

Note that Safari has the same behavior, for the same reason. Chrome ignores the system setting.

If you want to override the system setting just for Firefox for some reason, you can do so by setting the "accessibility.tabfocus" preference in about:config. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Accessibility.tabfocus
