Plat, OS: --> All
BTW summary could be rather 'ability to block images from Page Info -> Images',
because actual summary covers more thing than actual description (for example
ability to save image, view image, copy image location etc.)
OS: Windows 2000 → All
Hardware: PC → All

Agree with comment #3. I came across this RFE while searching to see if
something like I wanted to write already existed:
I wanted to write an RFE bug that requests to have a context menu for an image
which contains a "save image to disk" item. Even better would be if you were
able to select multiple entries in the list box.
If you select multiple images, the preview should be disabled and the number of
selected images + total size displayed.
My RFE would fit the title "ability to do image management" which this RFE
(still) has and which is why I am posting the comment.
You could combine my RFE with the original reporters by adding something like
"block domain for images" to the context menu or something.

I should be able to get to all of these by the time 1.1 is released.

We now have a checkbox in the Media tab for "block images from <website>"

The checkbox that currently exists is a drastic oversimplification of the request. I do not consider the checkbox to have resolved this request.

In that case, I think this is WONTFIX as I don't see us doing anything else. We cannot block single images anyway, only domains.

I don't see the purpose of blocking individual images... (or individual URLs...). This would quickly get out of hand. And the most obnoxious images (ads) have a rather volatile URL anyway.
