Steps to reproduce: 1. Load the Recommended landing page https://marketplace.allizom.org/recommended 2. Refresh the page a few times. Expected results: Installed apps are not displayed no matter how many times the page is refreshed. Actual results: After a few page refreshes, some installed apps are displayed. Notes/Issues: Verified on FF 37 (Win 7). Attaching screenshot for this issue.

I can reproduce this issue. I have had Twitter installed since forever and it is one of the recommended apps for me. Screenshot @ https://www.dropbox.com/s/psmrs5dfew2mwz4/Screenshot%202014-12-09%2009.51.02.png?dl=0

I checked the dumps and the dump files correctly list the installed apps. Jason notified me that the dumps were not importing correctly but that is now fixed. Can someone verify that this is still an issue?

I can still reproduce this issue on dev. See https://www.dropbox.com/s/rhut804xkr0i6b4/Screenshot%202014-12-12%2011.19.58.png?dl=0 where css3Clock is listed in both /recommended and /purchases.

https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/commit/9d69ae8 This adds a workaround on our side. This will removed installed apps on zamboni side, which is good when: * Recommendation engine falsely returns installed apps * A user has installed an app and the recommendation engine hasn't been recalculated Lowering priority for the recommendation side fix.

Once I install an app in the Recommended list, should it also be removed from the /recommended page?

(In reply to Christopher Van Wiemeersch [:cvan] from comment #6) > Once I install an app in the Recommended list, should it also be removed > from the /recommended page? It will be removed the next day, i think.

Also, I don't see my installed apps being listed at /recommended anymore.

This issue is reproducing on MP-stage FF43(Win 7): -> after installing an app, the app is listed automatically in Recommended page. Please see the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/m1zNWshvt
