From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112008 When I enter a https site in a new tabbed pane, the lock icon doesn't show up, and View | Page Info says that Website Identity Not Identified and Connection Not Encrypted. I'm not sure if it is actually not encrypted, or maybe the user just interface didn't get updated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Mozilla. 2. Press Ctrl+T to get a new tabbed pane. 3. Enter https://www.mailandnews.com/ (or any other https site) in the location bar and press Enter. Actual Results: The lock icon on the bottom right doesn't light up, and View | Page Info says that the connection is not encrypted. Expected Results: The lock icon should light up, and View | Page Info should say that the connection is encrypted.
Ok this one's a user interface bug. I ran "netstat" and it shows that the https connection is happening. Just that the lock icon and View | Page Info didn't get updated,
