When I observe an abnormal battery usage on android, I'd like to send a detailed report that can be analysed and statistically prioritised.
Currently this button is disabled and no help entry explains that.

Based on other applications, it looks like the report mechanism merely launches the standard application error report. ApplicationErrorReport can report on type type_battery. These reports go to Google, so I don't know how much insight or control we would have on these.

Summary: Battery usage report button is disabled → Implement ApplicationErrorReport for battery usage stat reporting
Thank you for digging the info out! It seems you have access to it through the developer console https://developer.android.com/distribute/googleplay/developer-console.html#reviews-reports. I couldn't find an API reference to it.
Now, I'm puzzled. Just today, I've seen the button enabled. Did someone read this and enable the option in the console? I'll be sure to use it when appropriate.
But it would be useful to have a confirmation it will be used.
