In bug 1080948 the web was notified whenever the Email or Copy Link buttons are clicked. This request is to enhance that API to differentiate which of the two buttons were clicked. This enhancement is requested to gain an understanding of what technologies users are more prone to share with.
The current API does expose different events for the two actions. Closing this as invalid.

Looks like we spoke a bit too soon. The Loop:RoomURLEmailed event is only firing when the default mailto application is set to Mail.app on OSX (haven't tested other platforms).

We don't need 2 bugs on the same thing. The code is already trying to do this, and if it's not working for some reason then it can be fixed by bug 1118346.
