A "Learn More" (same as the one on the user settings page) needs to be added to the Recommended Page. This was requested by the legal team as a industry best practice.
Where on the page should this go?
The user story is that Person A lands on the Recommendation Tab and questions why is this app being recommended to me? To answer this person's question the "Learn More" link should be somewhere visible and accessible on the page. Slide 1 of this deck has 2 sample sentences and suggested placement: https://docs.google.com/a/mozilla.com/presentation/d/1Nq3dSDrh6uIz5xKEgy3HOGwD0aw-bqpc33dVh94Hkus/edit?usp=sharing The deck also has examples from other companies.
Hi Matej, Can you help the marketplace team with some wording to explain app recommendations. I explained the user story and provided some industry samples, and possible sample text for Mozilla, in Comment 2 above. You're much better at this so your advice is appreciated! Thanks, Mika

Is it possible to say below "Recommended" "Recommendations are based on Apps you've installed" (Learn More)
I did a quick mock-up using the dev tools to see how that would look: Mobile view: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bhyg6fh8flwedsr/Screenshot%202015-01-08%2011.24.40.png?dl=0 Desktop view: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ntyte7psnzpaj0x/Screenshot%202015-01-08%2011.25.41.png?dl=0 It's a bit wordy and wraps on mobile unfortunately. On Desktop it starts to bleed a little into the device selection drop down. Could we shorted it to "based on apps you've installed" to remove the duplicate "Recommended" right below the header? Does the learn more link need to be in the header? Could it be further down the page? Or possibly as just a (?) icon that has more context on hover?
I thought that would happen. Some thoughts: 1. Add a "what's this?" link in smaller font size (!) beneath the page title (Recommended). On desktop, hover over "what's this?" to see "Recommendations are based on Apps you've installed. Learn more." User clicks "learn more" to go to the page with detailed info. On mobile, tap "what's this?" to see popover, then tap "learn more" to go to the page. 2. Get rid of all the extra text in the 2nd line and just have it say "Learn more." I prefer #2.

Here's a sketch for #1 above. We already have a Tooltip concept in the Styleguide, so I'm liking #1 as a solution now. See the attached.

Updated with Devhub question icon treatment.

On IRC it was noted that the mocks in comment 9 are good, with the following changes: * Make the question icon with a gray background and white question mark * Make the tooltip blue on hover * More padding between title and 2nd line
Hi all, Do you still need my help here? The links in comment 9 are broken, so I can't see what you landed on, but based on the mockup in comment 8, I wouldn't use both lines of copy (the line below "Recommended" and the tooltip). It's unnecessarily repetitive. Thanks.
