Description: In the Edit mode, when the user scrolls the page to the top or the bottom, strips of wallpaper are shown during the overscroll animation. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20150114010205. 2) Long-press any icon to enter the edit mode. 3) On the edit screen, scroll to the top or bottom. 4) Observe the overscroll animation. Actual: The wallpaper is showing at the top, bottom, and between the groups during the overscroll animation. Expected: The overscroll animation is displayed properly without any graphic issues. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 3.0 Master (319mb, Full Flash) BuildID: 20150114010205 Gaia: e2a0f7c311119d4a8e160bdfb9e28a0e61a180fc Gecko: 63006936ab99 Gonk: a814b2e2dfdda7140cb3a357617dc4fbb1435e76 Version: 38.0a1 (3.0 Master) Firmware: V18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:38.0) Gecko/38.0 Firefox/38.0 Repro frequency: 10/10 See attached: video clip, logcat http://youtu.be/XPUz25B7qKs ======================== This issue also reproduces on Flame 2.2. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.2 (319mb, Full Flash) Build ID: 20150114002502 Gaia: 7c5b27cad370db377b18a742d3f3fdb0070e899f Gecko: 748b20315f75 Gonk: a814b2e2dfdda7140cb3a357617dc4fbb1435e76 Version: 37.0a2 (2.2) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:37.0) Gecko/37.0 Firefox/37.0
Unable to reproduce this issue on Flame 2.0. App-grouping does not exist in v2.0, and overscrolling is not enabled by default. When overscrolling is enabled through Settings > Developer, the overscroll animation is different in v2.0, and the issue is not observed. Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 2.0 (319mb, Full Flash) Build ID: 20150114000207 Gaia: 31d6c9422cd0a8213df9f96019c9ab7168ec3ab3 Gecko: f2b6017e84eb Gonk: a814b2e2dfdda7140cb3a357617dc4fbb1435e76 Version: 32.0 (2.0) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0

This has, obviously, nothing to do with app-grouping. Do please make sure to consider whether a bug you're filing is actually an app-grouping bug or an unrelated bug that you may encounter when using the homescreen. Just because app-grouping is a new feature does not mean it's the cause of every new issue that occurs. Disabling app-grouping would have no effect on this bug, so this bug does not block app-grouping. A bisection would also have shown that this is completely unrelated to app-grouping too.
No longer blocks: app-grouping
