Yes I can help on this. I am currently cleaning up a list that contained a lot of corrupt characters. Should be ready soon. Probably this weekend. Just a first list with around 5,000 words.

Hi Ibrahima, I have a good bit of data for Wolof, most of which seems to use the proper diacritics and so on. Maybe I'll ping you by email and we can coordinate creation of a bigger frequency list.

For partner working with FxOS 2.0, TAM has communicated to them to handle "languages other then what are already supported in FxOS 2.0" by their own, so this will not block 2.0.

I am very confused by the content of this bug.
This bug is about creating a Wolof Dictionary and Wordlist - as the title and Description explain. I don't see that this is being answered here. Let's not use this bug for other updates on Wolof please! 
If I'm not mistaken, comment 14 is the last one that actually has to do with this bug. Putting a Need info on Ibrahima so he can take on where we left with Kevin. If Rubric can help pitching in that's great, but all this information isn't related to what we're trying to achieve in this bug ;)

I am also quite confused about these links I saw this morning on my phone while at work. Yeah they are not in the right place I think.
The update on this is that we did not get a reply to our request to use a word list we found on a website. We have a much smaller one which is not perfectly clean yet.
I am clearing the needinfo flag for Ousmane Faty because he has not been responding to emails for the last 2 years!! I was unable to get in touch with him during our localization workshop in Dakar last year. Is that ok?

I cannot answer for others; but Kevin needs a corpus of Wolof data in order to create word lists. My comments are to let him know which components are ready for him to process. Should I use a different channel/bug?

Hi Ian,

No, I'm grateful to you for posting them here.  Had I replied immediately it might have avoided some confusion.

For the future, Dwayne has pointed me to the github repository where Pootle saves all of the PO files - I've got that cloned on my machine now so I'll have access to the latest versions of all translations for all languages.
