User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150108202552
Steps to reproduce:
I went to watch time on different places in the Settings part of Gaia.
My Phone is in english with 24H time format.
Actual results:
Most places displays incorrect time format (12H format), like in languages part or last update time part for example.
Expected results:
It should use the time format chosen by user instead of this one.
Especially, see this bug too https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1059162 to pay attention in the future not only to time, but to date too.
I reproduced the problem in language on 2.1[1] and master[2]. It looks like it has never been implemented. Gerry, do you know if this is by design or not?
Like Clement told me on IRC, the format of "Last updated" doesn't change at all even if you change the language. It's a different issue then. Clement, would you mind opening a new bug for that?

About the "Last updated" time string, I created bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1124644
About Language sample format, it's needed to know if it is wished result to see default language date and time format or if it should follow user preferences.

This is probably by design, but still needs UX's confirmation.
NI UX for more information.

Hi Gerry,
Yes this is by design. Sample time format shown on Language panel follows the locale default, so if you change language, time format will be overwritten by the language's default time format, user can modify the setting later if he wishes to. Thanks!
