Seen on Gaia 2.0: When receiving contacts via Bluetooth from another device, the following message is shown: memoryCardContacts-importing=Importing contacts from memory card… Since this is not from a memory card, this is a confusing.

I agree this is confusion, but that's what actually happens. You receive a vCard file over Bluetooth which is stored in the memory card. Then, when the import process is triggered, it reads the vCard from the memory card. The vCard file is still in the memory card after the import if I remember correctly. Carrie, do you think it's worth it to change the string, here?

Hi, I couldn't transfer a contact via bluetooth on the devices (it's not working, should be a bug). I attach the BT spec here and you can take a look at p.7 screen 2. Can't we just follow the generic file transfer string (or just change the "file" to "contact") here? I don't think users need to know so many details (such as memory card) at this step. Thanks!

NI myself to check the BT transfert of a contact.

BT contacts are actually following the steps of a generic file transfer, with a couple of supplementary steps: 1. Activate BT, make your device visible and pair it 2. Accept the vcard transfer 3. Once the vcard is download, you have to tap the notification to import it 4. That's at that moment you see that "Import contacts from memory card..." The reason that I want to remove "memory card" is that users don't know these newly downloaded contacts are stored in memory card and they will feel confused because they think they are from the other device rather then from their own memory card.

With the new rework of the import activities this is not happening.
