We've talked about this before and I think the decision was to not create RTL versions of all the tutorial videos. We've taken pains to not need to localize them - partly because we simply can't fit all the necessary variations on the device. Just doing LTR and RTL may be an option, but each video averages 100s of KB (depending on device screen density) The post 2.2 plan is to move to a more in-context guided tour for the FTU tutorial so I think unless we decide to block on this, its a wontfix.

Sam, you're correct on all points. Thanks for your pretty incredible awareness of all of these issues and your robot-like memory. We can't, for 2.2 at least, localize all of the videos, have all of them on device, etc. with the memory constraints of most devices. We had planned to address it post 2.2. We should not block on this.

Also, I believe this is noted in the bidi pattern as an element that won't be localized, so I really hope this information has made it down the line into our test plans!
