Mike and I agree that this is infeasible for a v1. It was originally intended to be done within DevTools. If we were to implement this in the Directory app, we would probably have trouble unzipping exported apps, and then if we could do that, we would have cross origin security exceptions when trying to upload the files to GitHub.
