This is a tracking bug for work needed to complete the Password Management
Improvements. To implment this, we must ...
This has several parts so I'll address each one separately.
1) Prompt for master password each time you hit a page where you saved a password
2) Make Master Password dialog visually distinct from other password entry
3) Improve dialog wording

Item #1 has been done
Item #2 is in the PSM area
I don't know what you have in mind by item #1, but I suspect it too has to do
with the PSM dialogs.

Is it possible to add a feature so that the password manager would work with
chat boards such as MozillaZine? At present the only solution is to set the
password manaager to "Never for this site" for MozillaZine. If the password
manager had the option to ignore certian fields, such as "Post Title" which
changes everytime a new post is made, or a pop-up option asking which firld the
users wants the password manager to index with, so it could be remembered with
the user name instead of the title of the post. At present if the password
Manager is used at sites such as MozillaZine the user ends up with multiple
passwords all all indexed with the post's title and Mozilla fails to recognize
that the password is already stored for this site.
New userers may become so fustrated by having the password manager function as
it does at MozzilaZione (and other similar chat boards) that they dump
Mozilla/NS 6 for another browser.

I don't know how strongly you care about this. I think it's very low priority.
If it's very important then we need a more detailled spec than just "different".

This bug no longer has anything to do with password manager but rather with PSM.
Updating summary to reflect that.

Paul, Eugene, please file a separate bug. You seem to propose an enhancement for
password manager, but I'm not I understand. Please file a bug under
Browser/Password manager.
Re this bug: As it was said, 1) has already been fixed.
Re 2), there is a separate bug already, see bug 101611.
Re 3), I guess you also mean improved wording for the password dialog. Could you
please post suggestions for improved wording in bug 101611?
Thanks.
