+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1141490 +++ Noticed this yesterday after updating my Nexus S build. Previously, it was one dating from early february STR: 0. Build/Flash current Nexus S master tree 1. Enable silent mode 2. Reboot Expected: I see silent mode icon in status bar Actual: No silent mode icon in statusbar As soon as I voldown then volup, it gets back in the statusbar. Enabling/disabling airplane mode seems to be doing the trick too. That may be a race exposed by Nexus S because it's quite slow now.
Hmm...I can't reproduce on flame, are you able to?
(In reply to Alive Kuo [:alive][NEEDINFO!] from comment #1) > Hmm...I can't reproduce on flame, are you able to? I don't know, my Flame is not uptodate and I'm busy with other stuff. Still, the fact that it do not reproduces on Flame may just mean the race is not kicking there.

Still, > the fact that it do not reproduces on Flame may just mean the race is not > kicking there. So we need a logging patch. Take.

So, I've updated my Z3 Compact and I've noticed the exact same behavior after rebooting.

I feel this is dupe of 1143577, but not sure. Lemme merge it at first.
