Steps to reproduce: 1. open settings app 2. go to Sound settings 2. turn the ringtone volume up 3. select ringtone 4. switch between multiple selections (Settings app will sometimes crash) 5. go to step 2. I've repeated this several times, it usually takes a few iterations. Cafbot will upload logs.

Also wanted to mention that most of the time there is no sound being played when ringtone is selected as observed by bug 1107534.

This seems to be on 8909 device based on the crash dump. Is this reproducible on Flame? (copying Sotaro too)

I guess it might be an audio context crash because looks like previewing the ringtones will crash the calller app(Settings), and probably not related to gaia, maybe bug 1139157?

The crash dump is not similar to that of bug 1139157. Is the gecko version https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g37_v2_2/ or latest Central?

Following the STR from this bug I could only reproduce the crash from bug 1139157. I tried again on a pretty recent build and I'm having trouble reproducing the crash now. I'll ask out test team to try again as well and get back to you here.

Test team is also unable to reproduce this on latest build (AU106). I'm going to close this issue for now.
