Socorro was set up to be installed in /data/socorro many years ago. We have many config files and puppet manifests that are expecting this littered throughout PHX. After we move out of PHX, we'll have an opportunity to clean this up. We have many example configs and some config defaults in the tree that hardcode "/data/socorro", but I am very happy to change this.

Our production install instructions are getting quite svelte: http://socorro.readthedocs.org/en/latest/production-install.html We need to get out of PHX so we can fix this bug and remove that SELinux section.

Not working on this, would be good to do still!

Probably not gonna happen, at least for the near term. We can reopen if we decide it is worth pursuing.
