Bug 530209 was a big leap forward but some things got lost on the way.
For example in http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14078105#p14078105
Someone wants back the ability to specify "Only match locations, not website titles". Is this possible? How difficult would it be code-wise?

That doesn't sound like a feature we had prior to bug 530209. Am I missing something?

Yes, previously you could restrict to tags using a value of 5, to titles using a value of 15, or to URLs using a value of 17: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.urlbar.default.behavior#Possible_values_and_their_effects
In fact, in early drafts of the patch for Bug 530209, there were options for all of these as outlined in Comment 42: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=530209#c42
My reading of that bug is that the plan for the initial patch was to keep it as simple as possible with the option to expand the specificity later on. Which is what this bug is requesting.

Oh, I see - "you could" do those things if you used about:config, and we got rid of that hidden pref. I don't think there's a strong enough argument for re-introducing it.
