Alice, can you still reproduce this? I was going to look at it today but both the testcase and the original page don't show the problem (anymore?) for me. I think I tested this when you filed the bug originally and was able to reproduce it at the time. So maybe something has landed in the meantime that has fixed it.

I tested with latest Nightly. But, I can still reproduce the problem on both original page and the testcase. We think this may be fixed by bug 1172014. That patch hasn't landed yet, but we should re-test this when it lands.

Nope, still haven't been able to reproduce this on OS X. That makes it very likely that it will indeed be fixed by bug 1172014.
