This is a regression that's going to affect many shipping locales. Moving to Firefox OS. Nominating

[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: triage: The localized "KB" is too long. we need to have a way to deal with the strings, but not blocking at this moment.
blocking-b2g: 2.2? → ---
I'm sorry, per the screenshot, the only reason why 2.1 is not affected is because half of the translation was done. I don't think we can consider this bug as regression. Let's wait for UX to chime in for this new edge case, where "KB" is too long.
This looks very strange. Why are numerals appearing in the middle of the string instead of on the right? It looks like layout is affected by the new translation. I also thought abbreviations like this -- KB, GB, etc. -- don't usually get translated. Delphine?

I didn't realize the screenshots were both from bn-IN, thought it was the English one. You're correct this isn't a regression! Shine: can you please make sure that your team isn't putting "affected" flags when it's actually that the screen wasn't translated, and is still in English? Thanks Also, please investigate amongst the list locales that you have to test for 2.2, if any really in fact regressed from 2.1 to 2.2 in this particular case. Stephany: it's actually totally depends on the locales, for example French does. We'd have to ask a native speaker on this case (Transvision is down, can't check there to give other examples). As I confirmed with reporter, the attachment on the comment 0 is [2.2 English & 2.2 bn-in] screenshots instead of [2.1 English & 2.2 bn-in] screenshots. FYI. Also, may I have a suggestion? Here comes two problems we are talking about. Translation & Truncation. Can we file different bugs to follow up?

Thanks William. Hi Delphine, Maybe the original screenshot is misleading, and actually, it is 2.2 English+2.2 bn-in, not 2.1 English+2.2bn-in. To make it more clear, I have updated the screenshot with some labels on it: "2.2 english", "2.2 bn-in", "2.1 bn-in" on. See attachment: Usage_update.png Thanks!
