Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150421074559
Steps to reproduce:
1) Click in search entry box on right of browser
2) Release mouse
3) Type search term
4) Hit return
Actual results:
It searched on a different search engine than I had selected, or brought up the search settings dialog.
This is a UI design issue - the problem here is that on releasing the mouse to type the search term the mouse moves slightly, if there aren't many items in the search history, the mouse pointer ends up over one of the recently added search engine buttons that have been added to the search history menu, and the 'enter' performs the action the cursor is over.
Expected results:
It should have used my previous search setting.
'enter' shouldn't be influenced by the mouse position here, to select one of those other search engines I'd expect to click on it, or use some explicit key stroke.
