User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150415140819
Steps to reproduce:
Customize your adobe flash settings using the flash player settings manager. Then use the forget button in Firefox.
Actual results:
Observe the customized settings are now all reset back to the defaults in the flash player settings manager.
Expected results:
I expected the forget button to clear everything including adobe flash items from websites, but not the main flash settings. The regular clear history function doesn't reset/erase the adobe flash settings.
Hi Reporter,
Can you please provide more exact steps, so I can try to reproduce the issue?
Also, can you please test this on the latest Firefox release (43.0) or latest Nightly (46.0a1,
https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and tell me if this still reproduces for you ? When doing this, please use a new Firefox profile and please use also the latest Flash player version. For sure it was updated since then.
Thanks,
Cosmin

Blocks: Forget-button
Component: Untriaged → General
Here are the steps:
1) In the Adobe Flash settings storage tab, click the 'block all sites from storing information on this computer'. Close the settings.
2) Go into Firefox, click forget (doesn't matter which duration).
3) Go back into the Adobe Flash settings and observe that the settings changed in step one is now back to its default state.
As far a I know this will erase/reset all Adobe Flash settings, not just the one I mentioned as an example in step one.

I followed the new steps and managed to reproduce the issue using the latest Firefox release (43.0.1) and latest Nightly (46.0a1). After I use forget button from Firefox adobe flash settings return to default settings.
Considering this, I will mark this issue as New and assign a component to it. If someone considers that the component is not the right one, please feel free to change it with a more appropriate one.
