Currently when sharing a conversation link over social networks through Hello, a user can select a network from the conversation window which then opens a panel emanating from the "SharePlane" icon in the toolbar. A better, more insular experience is to have the panel open up from the same sharing icon the user clicked on in the conversation window. This makes it easier and quicker for users to share links and does not require them to manually add the icon to their toolbar.
Is this a duplicate of the work you are doing now in bug 1170535. This seems like the original bug to investigate and decide a direction. Either Mike or Sevaan may be able to answer.
