User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150517004004

Steps to reproduce:

I enabled the multi-processing option in the options panel of firefox developer edition.
I restarted the browser

Actual results:

No pages would load and a loading spinner kept on spinning.
I viewed the source of the page and behind the spinner the page looks to have loaded.

Expected results:

I assume, as this is the first time I am using the multi-process option, the browser should have loaded as normal.
Did it work after restarting FF40 a 2nd time?

Could you test with a fresh profile with e10s enabled?

Summary: Multi-processing on firefox developer edition → Multi-processing on Firefox developer edition makes tabs blank
I experienced the same thing on my single CPU laptop. My multi-core desktop worked fine when I enabled it. How many CPU's does your machine have?
Today's update fixed everything. Works perfectly.
raykendo@gmail.com When this was broken yesterday it was also a single CPU laptop. But today the nightly update included the fix.
I am using a quad core i5 processor so don't think thats an issue.
Also I restarted firefox a few times to see if that would sort it out.
I'm going to re-enable it this morning and see if it works following the updates.
If it doesn't work I am going to try a fresh profile with e10s enabled

Right just re-enabled it and it is all working perfectly, unless anyone has the same issue I am going to close the bug as resolved.
