as of Mozilla 0.9.7, the Location Bar no longer seems to remember the original URL typed in if the URL results in a redirect. a good example is https://paydirect.yahoo.com/ before 0.9.7, i could always see this in my history. after 0.9.7, it only seems to remember redirect strings. this behavior is frustrating because there are several extremely long redirect strings at sites i use frequently (such as Yahoo! or my credit card company), and it would be nice to be able to have history remain as it was, with caching URLs as typed.
