(Reporter: webformulare_04, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150525141253

Steps to reproduce:

Firefox 38.0.5 on OSX Yosemite, trying to import data from a no longer working profile:

- Copy the folder "bookmarkbackups" from the old profile folder to the new one
- Try to import bookmarks via the bookmarks administration popup window by clicking the save & import icon and choosing an entry from the list (in my case the most recent one)

Actual results:

Firefox stalls and displays an error popup:

"WARNING UNRESPONSIVE SCRIPT
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: chrome://browser/content/places/editBookmarkOverlay.js:914"

Expected results:

Bookmark import should have happened
