Support for x64 builds for SeaMonkey is long overdue. It should be be an officially-supported platform. Please could RelEng do this?
As both Firefox and Thunderbird produce x64 linux builds. We should be looking to do this. Builds for Win 64 would be a different matter, currently on Gecko 39 betas but not on releases yet. (As far as I am aware).
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
Emphasis being on "official" as they are already provided in the contrib/ section. This would include l10n support as well as AUS updates.
Summary: Support x64 Linux builds for SeaMonkey → Support official x86_64 Linux builds for SeaMonkey
I do agree with this; but can be done when we actually have a set of working 'core' platforms (priority is on getting Windows back up).
(In reply to Rainer Bielefeld from comment #4) > Seems fixed with <http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/#linux-x86_64>? It's a contributed build and not an official one.
