Description: NFC is enabled on two phones, one has a webpage up and the other is on the home menu. When they are placed back to back, the phone with the sharable content displays "Swipe to share." If the user presses the home button while this screen is up, nothing happens. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Aries to 20150608200123 2) Go to Settings and check "NFC" 3) Open the web browser and navigate to any page. 4) Procure another NFC enabled phone and place them back to back. 5) When the "Swipe to Share" screen appears on the first phone, press the home button. Actual: Home button is non-functional while "Swipe to Share" screen is active. Expected: Home Button returns to the user to the home menu. From my perspective, this is the expected behaviour. User puts the phone against the other one to explicitly share something via NFC. Once he takes away his phone, the sharing screen will be dismissed and the home button will be working. I don't see a reason to press the home button while holding my phone against some other one. My Android device works the same way here. If the Beam (NFC sharing) screen is visible home button is disabled.

But sorry I cannot find the UX/gaia bug right now

Yes in the beginning we plan to block the home button while "swipe to share" screen is displayed. It is because NFC pairing is not as stable as any other sharing behaviour since people have to physically put the phone together in a precise position, so it'd better block the home button in case users touch it by accident. If users really want to go home they could simply separate their phone and the swipe screen will dismiss so people can go to anywhere they want. However, we indeed change the behavior after 2.0, I remember it's because of technical issues..so at that time I wasn't insist on blocking home button. I cannot find the ux bug either. Yoshi if you can help on finding the correct bug that would be help! Thanks.

We have created meta bug for NFC-Gaia Bug 933640 and NFC-UX Bug 933150. But I cannot find any information about this change as mentioned in Comment 2.
