(Whiteboard: Depends on hyatt and saari rewrite of context menus)
when pressing the right button, no pulldown menu appears
Component: Browser-General → XPApps
OS: Windows 98 → other
Summary: Right mouse button → [FEATURE] Right mouse button support
Target Milestone: M10
We need at least the "Open URL in new window" command in that context menu.
Bill, do you also need notifications on nsILinkHandler for a right mouse click
(see Radha's bug #6085) for this to work?
No, this bug seems to refer to context menus in general, not just for links. I
think this will be handled somehow by generic xul/html document event handling
(with appropriate handlers wired in at the browser level).
There's probably a bug concerning *that*, however, and this bug would be
dependent on that one. I'll update this as I learn more and will simply accept
it for now.
Adding to tracking bug #12670. We're depending on #11304 in order to implement
this (rumor is that will be M11, though, based on posting to
netscape.public.mozilla.xpfe).

Context menus basically work. Remaining shortcomings should be noted with
specific bugs (of which there are already plenty).

verified on linux and win (1999120908). for mac you need to hold down crtl key
and hold down mouse button; will open separate bug for that.
