For roughly the past three days, Nightly consistently crashes after a few seconds when using Gmail. Tested with a clean profile on Windows 10 (build 10130) on a Dell XPS 13. Not sure if it's Windows specific since I don't have anything else to test with at the moment. Opportunistically blocking the windows-10 bug in case it is platform specific.
WFM on my surface pro 3 with windows 10. Can you please provide crashreport links? (about:crashes should have them)
No longer blocks: windows-10

Hm, it actually doesn't crash, but just hangs (»not responding«) forever. Therefore I wasn't able to find a crash report :( We can look at it together this week if you have time...

Summary: Nightly crashes when visiting Gmail → Nightly hangs perpetually when visiting Gmail
Three updates: 1) It still happens in the latest Nightly 2) It's not just Gmail, but also IRCcloud (and possibly others) 3) When e10s is enabled, it's the content process that is hanging (again, not crashing, but just hanging forever)
Mike, do you think you have time to hook up with Philipp and look at this?

OK, new update: I did a full Windows reset (essentially re-installing Windows) and that has fixed the problem. The (kinda) bad news is that this means I can't reproduce the issue anymore either.
And for some reason the hangs are back now :/ They seem to be related to another issue I'm having, where I can't play any videos (in any browser or desktop app) anymore. Not sure about the causes here, but those two issues have now appeared simultaneously for the second time.
I also encounter hang issues when launching Nightly on both my machines (Win7 + Win 8.1). I have Inbox and Facebook as pin tab and it seems to cause the issue. Don't know if it's a different issue or not.
Hey phlsa, are you still seeing this? Are there some STR I can follow for a recent Nightly, starting with a fresh profile?

I can't reproduce it anymore. After my second Windows reset, the issue didn't come back. I thought that MS Office 2016 Preview might have something to do with it (since it started twice around the time I installed that). That said, with the latest build of Windows (10162) Office 2016 and Firefox run happily side by side on my system.

Let's mark this as WFM and we can come back if people are seeing the same thing again.
