(Keywords: regression)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150530072911
Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird automatically updated itself from version 31.7.0 to 38.0.1 then SMTP connections began to hang and timeout.
Actual results:
On the new mail composing screen, after hitting send, TB states that it connected to remote smtp server, but waits there until timeout. So, e-mail cannot be sent.
Expected results:
Mail should have been sent in a few seconds. When I downgrade to 31.7.0 everything works fine. I disabled automatic updates for the time being.
