Actual results: The WINDOW that opened had the contents shifted upwards as in the screen capture. In addition and 'button' or 'check mark' area to check WAS not moved. Had to go below said control to use it. I discovered that SAFEMODE worked fine. Eventually discovered it was the 'USE H/W ACCELERATION' that was the problem. Problem is really in all windows and dialog boxes. This is a DELL XPS with its OEM Nvidia GT635. Nvidia GT630 drivers will not load. Only the ones from Dell. Other computer here with an ATI card works fine with H/W acceleration. See screen capture attached. Expected results: Normal Windows should have been displayed.

If you do still see problems, is it better with (in this order) 1. current beta version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/ ? 2. latest NVIDIA driver (As of Dec 14, 2016 driver version is up to 376.33 for windows 10) ?

Yes, still there. I had to turn on HWA to see it. Even the window you would turn it off after turning it on was off a few lines. I might not have the latest video driver, but I do have a recent one for the video card, 21.21.13.7254, dated 8/11/2016. That shows on the driver properties card. Driver version is 372.54. I normally do not upgrade the video driver unless I feel there is a need. Don't normally use a Beta TB version either. I was on the latest TB release and now I installed the 50.0b3 beta and tested again. Seems to be fixed. I didn't install the newer NVidia driver though, probably will not unless you'd like me to do that?

the beta picks up many mozilla graphics fixes. so it's very possible that your issue has been fixed
