As a user, I want to see a unified device name regardless what connectivity technology (e.g. Bluetooth, WebIDE, Presentation API).
This is a follow-up of Bug 180596. We should provide a common device name setting for services registration such as Presentation API or Wi-Fi debugging.

I chatted with Ryan about this while in Whistler. Bluetooth and WebIDE have separate name configuration in settings app, and we need a device name for mDNS now (bug 1180596). The difficulty of merging the name setting is resolving name conflict: 1. Bluetooth uses mac address as a unique Id. Device name is an device information which doesn't require uniqueness. 2. Discovery protocol of WebIDE doesn't detect name conflict 3. mDNS requires name uniqueness and can detect conflict from its protocol As we can see, different connectivity technology has its own requirement. We should discuss the policy on this bug.
