In bug 1187395, mozilla-taskcluster was unable to post to Treeherder stage, due to a breaking change on stage. This on it's own shouldn't be a problem: stage is expected to break occasionally (as long as that breakage isn't pushed to prod, then it's doing its job). Unfortunately it seems as though when mozilla-taskcluster was unable to post to stage, this also broke submission to Treeherder prod. This is too fragile, and something that needs to be fixed asap. Greg, would you be able to drive this? :-)
Change was hotfixed on heroku on Friday, and merged to master today: https://github.com/taskcluster/mozilla-taskcluster/commit/e86aa770a87484fe45eb37d471847f6eb0ade679
